Flexible Billing Options in AdvicePay

AdvicePay offers the most convenient and customizable recurring or subscription billing options for financial advisors offering fee-for-service financial advice.

Bill for One-Time Financial Planning Fees

This is a great option for start up fees, special projects, custom charges, or tracking fees paid by check.

Are you also billing AUM/AUA for certain clients?

Save time when you streamline your quarterly investment billing. Create and send multiple one-time invoices all at once in AdvicePay, without the hassle of creating one invoice at a time. One-time invoices can be created in bulk via an uploaded .CSV file, or by manually entering them from within AdvicePay.

Request Multiple One-Time Payments

Establish Recurring Payments Easily

AdvicePay’s subscription feature enables you to establish billing once and set it to recur at the interval of your choice: monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually. Once your client has approved the recurring invoice, no further action is needed for billing to occur. Future payments will be automatically billed.

Auto payments can be received from a client’s bank account or credit card until you or your client cancels the subscription, or the end date of your agreement that you selected has been reached. It’s features like these that show AdvicePay is designed for financial advisors like you.

Set Up a Upfront Fee + Recurring Payments at the Same Time

Get a convenient workflow for both you and your new clients. Invoice clients for your initial financial plan with a one-time invoice, then shift them over to recurring payments all at once in AdvicePay. Your new clients only have to approve billing once, AdvicePay manages it from there.

Set Start and End Dates on Subscriptions

Do you prefer to do limited engagements, or renew terms with your clients annually? Do you want all of your clients billed on the same day of the month? You control the start and end date that works for you with recurring invoices. This highly customized option is great for billing special projects, or for setting an end date for a billing period.

Payment Processing That Makes Sense for You and Your Clients

Client Dashboard

Through AdvicePay’s Client Dashboard, your clients can view and/or download their entire payment history, edit their automatic payment account, and more. Clients love the visibility to their payment history, and they don’t need your help to access it.

Systematic Emails Mean Your Clients Are Informed — and You’re Compliant

Clients billed through AdvicePay automatically receive several emails when they are on a subscription. As their advisor, you receive a BCC copy of client emails from AdvicePay as well.

Client Emails that Keep You Compliant

  • Confirmation of the original authorization of a subscription and “pay” it, at client setup.
  • Advance notification of a pending payment due, seven days before they get billed.
  • A debit confirmation letting them know the payment was billed. ACH payment notifications are sent when the payment clears the bank, generally about five business days after the bill date.

Clients also are notified via email if their payment fails, or if their active subscription is cancelled by their advisor.

With a Professional AdvicePay subscription, you can add your own logo and personalized message to each email to customize your client experience.
